REFREGIRATING PLATES FOR BLAST FURNACES
REFREGIRATING PLATES FOR BLAST FURNACES, or so-called “plate fridges” are used to protect blast furnace casing from hire temperatures, to keep the rational profile of a laying and to increase the between-repairs time. They are placed inside of the casing. The feature of the refrigerating plates is that they have cooled pipes with an independent water admission. If one of the pipes is out of order, the refrigerating plate keeps on working.
